林盘散居的大格局，形成了别样的川西乡野风貌，在山、水、林、田、湖的相互共生中，林盘自由散落，形成“稻田一林，林一宅院”的生产和生活方式。极具川西特色的林盘宅院依据不同的地形地貌自然生长，或隐于高大的乔木与低矮的竹林之中，或被水渠环绕或穿过。
我们将“新”与“旧”的对比作为改造设计的出发点，以建筑原有的实体墙围合的形式不变，衍生出功能布局，与周边的水脉形成联系。
In the symbiosis of mountains, water, forests, fields and lakes, linpan is scattered freely, forming the production and life style of "one forest for paddy field, one house for forest". Linpan houses with western Sichuan characteristics grow naturally according to different landforms, hidden among tall trees and low bamboo forests, or surrounded or crossed by canals. We take the contrast between "new" and "old" as the starting point of the renovation design, and keep the form of the original physical wall of the building unchanged to derive the functional layout and form a connection with the surrounding water vein.
